6 Steps for running Malwarebytes
Anti-Malware Program
- Open Malwarebytes program, click on SCAN on the left Menu Bar,
- Click on Custom Scan,
- Click on Configure Scan,
- Check box "Scan for Rootkits" in the left column under Custom Scan,
- Check box (C:) in the right column and uncheck any other boxes. Drive C: is generally where Windows and all your programs are stored along with all your data (i.e: documents, pictures, etc.)
- Click on "Scan Now" directly below to begin the Malware Scan.
The window will now change and begin the scan. A series of (6) pre-scans will take place before the main & final scan. This program will generally take a while to run and so it is recommended to run overnight (*NOTE: Make sure to turn off (choose NEVER) all power settingsas any action may interfere with the scan.
If "malware" threats are found on the computer, the line "Threats Identified" will show the number of items found to the right. Orange dot for detected threats indicates a "Medium" threat found, red dot indicates a "Serious" threat found.
When all 8 steps are completed (last 2 steps take the longest), select Next and the window will change showing list of objects (threats) found. Most if not all objects will be checked for removal (if some items not checked, disregard).
Click "Remove Selected Items" and wait for the removal of all detected / found threats.
Once this step is done, click "Finish" and window will return to home page.
Process is now finished, click X (top right) to close program.

6 étapes pour exécuter le programme Malwarebytes:
- Ouvrez le programme Malwarebytes, cliquez sur SCAN dans la barre de menus supérieure,
- Cliquez sur Personnaliser le scan directement en dessous,
- Cliquez sur Configurer le scan directement ci-dessous,
- Cochez la case "Rechercher les rootkits" dans la colonne de gauche,
- Cochez la case (C :) dans la colonne de droite et décochez toutes les autres cases,
- Cliquez sur "Numériser maintenant" directement en dessous.
Ce programme prend généralement un certain temps pour s'exécuter. S'il détecte des "logiciels malveillants" sur l'ordinateur, la ligne "Objets détectés" affichera un certain nombre d'éléments trouvés à droite. Le point orange pour les menaces détectées indique une menace "Moyenne" trouvée, le point rouge indique une menace "Sérieuse" trouvée.
Lorsque les 8 étapes sont terminées (les 2 dernières étapes prennent le plus long), sélectionnez Suivant et la fenêtre changera affichant la liste des objets (menaces) trouvés. La plupart sinon tous les objets seront vérifiés pour suppression (si certains éléments ne sont pas cochés, méconnaître).
Cliquez sur "Supprimer les éléments sélectionnés" et attendez la suppression de toutes les menaces détectées / détectées.
Une fois cette étape effectuée, cliquez sur "Terminer" et la fenêtre retourne à la page d'accueil. Le processus est maintenant terminé, cliquez sur X pour fermer le programme.

6 Pasos para ejecutar el programa Malwarebytes:
- Abra el programa Malwarebytes, haga clic en SCAN en la barra de menús superior,

- Haga clic en Configure Scan (Configurar escáner) directamente debajo,
- Marque la casilla "Buscar los rootkits" en la columna de la izquierda,

- Haga clic en "Escanear ahora" directamente debajo.
Este programa tomará generalmente un rato para funcionar. Si encuentra "malware" en el equipo, la línea "Objetos detectados" mostrará una serie de elementos encontrados a la derecha. El punto naranja para las amenazas detectadas indica una amenaza "Media" encontrada, el punto rojo indica una amenaza "Seria" encontrada.
Cuando se completan los 8 pasos (los últimos 2 pasos toman el más largo), seleccione siguiente y la ventana cambiará mostrando la lista de objetos (amenazas) encontrados. La mayoría de los objetos, si no todos, se verificará para su eliminación (si algunos elementos no están marcados, desprecie).
